I Just Want to Thank You (7")

"Just Want To Thank You" was recorded in the Red Bull Studios in Auckland, celebrating Louis' time spent at the New York City edition of the Academy last year.

"When writing this song, I was musing on two ideas, the first was about how thankful I am to have such support in my life, and also how we as humans are pushed and pulled. How do we deal with mass media manipulation? Separatism and disconnectedness? Do we let these things govern us?" Says Baker.

The track is co-produced with New Zealand-born, Brisbane based soul-singer and producer Jordan Rakei who features on BV's and keys.
"It's basically a big boom bap, soul-style track with heavy drums, synths, bass, guitars, and stacks of vocal layers," comments Baker.

The B side is the acoustic version of "Just Want To Thank You", performed by Louis solo.
