November 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic AKTV2 tv programme C'mon. Produced by Kevan Moore from 1966 - 1969 - C'mon set the bench mark for all following local entertainment shows. Such was the shows impact that ABC in Australia were keen to purchase the first series before negotiations fell over solely on the frequent references to NZ record release dates which conflicted with the Australian release dates.

This CD features tracks that were either featured on the show or recorded specifically for the show - with 80% of the tracks unreleased. The lavish photo laden 20 page booklet tells the full story of both the tv show and the fondly remembered national tours.

50 episodes of C'mon were screened, but only 2 episodes have survived - C'mon (The CD) attempts to keep the show in the public eye and tells the long forgotten history of arguably one of our greatest broadcasting achievements.
