Release Date: Monday, 22 September, 2008
Following on from the success of their 2007 debut, 'City', New Zealand indie folk champions George & Queen release their second album, 'The Wind is Up'.
George & Queen are husband and wife duo, Immi Paterson and Neil Newton, who are now joined by drummer Richard Pharaoh and bassist Panduka Samarasinghe.
Mixing the band's trademark catchy melodies with an additional 70s pop/rock sound, 'The Wind is Up' falls somewhere on the long road between The Brunettes and Led Zeppelin.
