This is the original soundtrack to the film 'Dean Spanley', with music composed and orchestrated by Don McGlashan (of The Mutton Birds).
The score is performed by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Mark Taddei and Don McGlashan, with additional performances by Musica Sacra, the Seven Sisters and Kim Hegan.
Starring Peter O'Toole, Jeremy Northam, Sam Neill and Bryan Brown, the film, a NZ/UK coproduction, has been receiving glowing reviews from the UK, with GQ magazine calling it "the film of the year".
