On the turntable this week!
If you have been a customer of Marbecks in the last two decades -- or before that, been into a record shop where I've worked in Dunedin or Wellington -- you may have met me. Since I left school in the late '70s I have been involved in music on a daily basis -- on-line, in retail and writing articles / reviews for Ripitup, Grace & other magazines. I even sang with heavy rock band, Rose Bayonet for a couple of years in the '80s too.
Listening to music is one of the greatest joys in life and I am only too pleased to help people choose what is right for them -- and perhaps steer them towards sounds that are particularly to my liking... heh!
As the late great Frank Zappa said "Music is the best!"
