Heeeeere's Keith (from the Classical department)...
I'm a refugee from Sydney who has lived here and worked at Marbecks for three years now. Trained in Philosophy and Fine Arts at Sydney University, I've had a varied career -- from lecturing in design, to researching at APRA, to contract management at the ABC, to here! These days I am fairly busy as a painter, with three exhibitions in Auckland so far.
My musical taste ranges from the very old to the very new -- my favourite composers are Gesualdo, Machaut, Agricola, Ockeghem, Dufay, Mahler, Haydn, Mozart, Webern, Monteverdi, Handel, Reich, Ligeti, Messiaen, Feldman, Nancarrow, Carter, Xenakis and of course the 5 Bs -- Brahms, Boulez, Beethoven, Birtwistle, Bruckner and most of all, Bach.
