Reflections

'Reflections' is the follow-up to Ed Alleyne-Johnson's amazingly successful 'Echoes' and 'Purple Electric Violin Concerto' albums. Ed designed his own 5-string electric violin and, whilst busking on the streets of Europe, developed a unique style of multi-layered playing using digital delays and effects pedals, which led to the recording of the popular 'Purple Electric Violin Concerto' album in 1992 (it has sold over 40,000 copies in the UK since).

Returning to his busking roots, in 2005 Ed recorded the incredibly successful 'Echoes' (11,000 sales and rising) featuring his versions of contemporary pop songs - and now for 'Reflections', he has moved on to his interpretations of classic rock songs of the 1970s.

Concentrating on some of the great epic guitar solos, using Ed's inimitable multi-layered electric violin playing, this album features unique versions of songs by the likes of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Neil Young and others.
