i. COLONY Z (1986) :-
For 18 years behavioural scientist Lance Richdale studied the rare Yellow-Eyed Penguins on the Otago Peninsula. Colony Z tells the tale of his two favourite penguins Z12 & 115 and documents their unusual lifestyle.

ii. EATING LIKE A GANNET (1986) :-
Each spring more gannets than ever are arriving at colonies around New Zealand to reproduceand ravage inshore fish stocks. This film gives us a fascinating insight into these golden-headedfishermen at a time when other fisher folk are struggling to hold their own.

In times past, kokako and other wattlebirds shared the native bush. Despite the massive destruction of New Zealand's ancient forest the kokako survives and its distinctive call may yet herald its renaissance.

Harbours are familiar places but there is a side we don't see. Take a closer look at the harbour'sinhabitants and learn how they cope with changes both natural and man-made.
