The internationally acclaimed Australian saxophonist, Amy Dickson, releases her new album 'Catch Me If You Can' featuring contemporary classical music for saxophone & orchestra by film composer legend John Williams, American composer Michael Kamen, and Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits). On this album, Amy performs alongside the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
'Catch Me If You Can' features John Williams' Escapades for alto saxophone and orchestra, Michael Kamen's Concerto for Saxophone (the score for which was personally given to Amy by Michael Kamen's family) and Mark Knopfler's iconic score for the 1983 film, 'Local Hero', arranged for by the Australian film composer Jessica Wells.

Composers who have written for her include Ross Edwards, Peter Sculthorpe, Graham Fitkin, Steve Martland and Huw Watkins."
Recognized widely for her remarkable and distinctive tone and exceptional musicality, Amy has performed throughout the world in venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House, as a soloist with orchestras including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Philharmonia and London Philharmonic Orchestra
