[ Universal Children's Audio / CD ]
Release Date: Monday 2 February 2015
This exciting adventure in classical music is our second guided journey with the great composers. It features an absorbing collection of imaginative tracks from European orchestras and the NZSO.
Sound effects set an exciting scene. Then Katie, an accomplished young performer, engages children's attention, introducing each track with imaginative spoken passages.
Children are invited to participate in a variety of ways, through listening, moving, creating and playing instruments. To suit a child's attention-span, we've kept the pieces short - around three minutes. Some have been carefully edited. Each track on the CD can be cued either with or without its spoken introduction. This allows teachers to go directly to the music.
