Latin house mix album featuring Jeremy Street, Aquanauts, Petalpusher, Beanfield
Born and bred in LA, DJ/Producer David Alvarado has been carefully developing his smooth, soulful Latin house signature, since he was a teenager. His latest efforts can be heard on his new 'West Coast Grooves' mix album, courtesy of United DJ's Of America (previous releases include Mark Farina, Cevin Fisher, and Murk)… Opening with the sound of lapping water and the lazily alluring groove of Jersemy Street's "Cried Me A River", the compilation also features tracks from the Aquanauts (Guidance Recordings), Petalpusher (Naked Music), and Beanfield (Compost Recordings). Renowned for his own successful Bomb label, Alvarado has produced and remixed for the Stickman label, Aqua Boogie, Definitive, Yoshitoshi, X-Rated, Groove On and Strictly Rhythm. Undoubtedly, his most recognised achievement is having mixed the 'Midnight Express' album for Guidance Recordings in 1999. As if he wasn't busy enough, DJ'ing all over the world remains a steady muse for Alvarado. Excellent!!!
