"Andrew's last CD, 'Celtic Gypsy', was primarily an instrumental album, showing his amazing guitar talents. It is a welcome change to have 'Pray For Rain' as a vocal album with a brace of new songs documenting this colourful character's sojourns and life experiences.
Andrew has enlisted some thoroughbred musicians to assist, including keyboardist Donald Shaw (Capercaille) and vocalist Karen Matheson (Capercaille) and our very own Brendon Power on harmonica.
'Pray for Rain' is a Celtic-tinged bluesy album showcasing White's sweet melodies and sparkling fingerpicking. Andrew's songwriting has never been stronger and he is in fine voice. This CD is a gem waiting to be discovered."
