Cool sounds. Paul McGuigan, Noel Gallagher (from Oasis) guest

Cornershop's last album 'When I Was Born For The 7th Time' was voted 'Album Of The Year' by SPIN Magazine in the USA and got Cornershop nominated for a Mercury Music Prize in the UK.

'When I Was Born For The 7th Time' was released in NZ in early 1998, quickly rising to #12 on the NZ Album Chart on the back of the phenomenal success of the #1 hit single it spawned, "Brimful Of Asha", which was remixed by Norman Cook (A.K.A Fatboy Slim) and went on to become a bona-fide crossover radio smash, holding their album in the Top 50 for 9 weeks in the process.

Now Cornershop return with a new, 13 track album entitled 'Handcream For A Generation' which is spearheaded by the incredibly catchy first single "Lessons Learned From Rocky I to Rocky III" with Paul McGuigan from Oasis on bass. Noel Gallagher, also from Oasis, features on a 14 minute epic called "Spectral Mornings", turntablist Rob Swift performs scratches on tracks 1,5 & 11 and soul legend Otis Clay graces the albums' opening cut "Heavy Soup".
