Felix Da Housecat is one of the most highly regarded DJs / producers in the world today. Felix has become a name in the households of everyone from uber-stars Madonna and P Diddy to kids hooked on his crazy electro-pop dance music.
On CD 1, Felix demonstrates his dance floor set, selecting an eclectic blend of Electro, House and Techno. Kicking off with the sexy space-disco of Metro Area's "Caught Up", Felix goes on to reflect the breadth of his career from the vintage house of Frankie Knuckles production "It's a Cold World" through to the kosmic pop of likeminded label-mates Ladytron and the recent dance floor anthem that is Andrea Doria's "Bucci Bag".
On CD 2 Felix collates influential tracks and home listening favourites, from his salad days dancing down the disco to the likes of Chas Jankel and Skatt Brothers to the electronic pop and new wave of Giorgio Moroder and Depeche Mode that have helped shape his sound today. CD2 is a unique look into the golden age of 80-synth pop; this CD educates as well as entertains.
