Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959) is one of the principal Brazilian composers of the twentieth century. His tenth Symphony, called Amerindia, is an amalgam of Tupinamba, Portuguese and Latin where european and indian cultures fuse, being characteristic of his work. It is interpreted by the Symphony Orchestra of Teneriffa joined by four choirs, conducted by Victor Pablo Pérez.
