A work of soaring organic texture, melding rock and folk and experimentation with the purity of melody and poetry. This is atmospheric rocking music, to which you can shake your booty while docking starships... with your mind!!

Long overdue for release, Urdog's boundless album 'Garden Of Bones' is a one of a kind type record, taking in organic folk sentiments, Krautlike rhythms, swirling psychedelics, drones and playful melodies.

Eight tracks in length and as wise as they come, 'Garden Of Bones' is a work of soaring organic texture, melding rock and folk and experimentation with the purity of melody and poetry.

Formed by Jeff Knoch and Erin Rosenthal, the lineup completed by David Lefrieri, Urdog began with visions of sonic experimentation and a love of psychedelic sounds. Following the release of their self titled debut they came to the attention of American avantgarde record label Secret Eye, who initially released 'Garden Of Bones' in mid 2004. It went quickly out-of-print, and finally is available again!!. Tight and textural psych rock by three of Providence's finest. Driving, tribal drumming, fuzzed-out Farfisa, and searing guitar licks. Atmospheric yet rocking, this is music to which you can shake your booty while docking starships... with your mind!!

Following its release, 'Garden Of Bones' received glowing reviews in DUSTED, BROKEN FACE (Sweden), and BLOW UP (Italy), and was spun to death on US college radio stations, as well as being played in John Peel's final BBC Radio show.
