Liverpool, UK act Ladytron released their very successful 'Velocifero' album in May 2008, and now present an album of remixes from it. This is the fourth in the Ladytron "Rare & Remixed" series and includes 2 previously unavailable remixes.
As they celebrate 10 years together, the band has been keeping themselves very busy. They wrote and produced three songs for Christina Aguilera's 'Bionic' album, and have continued to travel the world for various shows and DJ gigs. They are currently in Liverpool working on their fifth studio album.
In 2001, Ladytron debuted with their album '604', a pristine, analog adventure of sound and substance, the album would go on to influence the electronic genre, while the group quietly made a global impact both visually and stylistically. Quietly rebelling against the bratty, disingenuous motifs of the time, Ladytron invoked the sonic storytelling of groups like Air, Stereolab, and My Bloody Valentine.
