Dion's Greatest Hits

Having fronted The Belmonts between 1957 and 1960, Dion was launched as something of a solo star at the end of the decade, switching musical styles from the doo wop that had catapulted him into stardom to a more R&B influenced flavour. Later still he would become something of a folk rocker, still with a modicum of success. Yet the hits he enjoyed at the start of his career are still by far the best of his material, as this album would no doubt confirm.
