Virgin Classics is delighted to welcome William Christie. He joins Hiro Kurosaki, first violin of Les Arts Florissants, in sonatas for violin and continuo spanning Handel's compositional career from 1707 - for the G major -, to around 1750 - for the great D major, Handel's finest solo sonata and probably his last chamber work. Hiro Kurosaki and William Christie performed these sonatas in a series of concerts across Europe during January 2003.
