Dan Paparany, the Auckland-based Jazz pianist, is well known to local fans from regular appearances at Festivals, MLC Bar, and at the Hyatt.

In 1999 Dan graduated from the conservatorium of music in Wellington with a bachelor of music performance majoring in keyboard.

This is Dan's debut album with Pete McGregor (bass) and Owen Kneebone (drums).

'Session one' is a collection of standard tunes including "You Don't Know What Love Is", "Nobody Else But Me", "Stella by Starlight", "My Foolish Heart" &, "Midnight Mood."
