As one of the most acclaimed opera singers of our time, Bryn Terfel dedicates his golden voice to a program that celebrates the simple beauty of melody and song, making the album a must-have for every Terfel fan and a serene and inspiring gift for the holiday season.

For this album, Terfel focuses on sacred, spiritual and meditative songs - songs of inspiration that range from classical to folk to popular, set to new orchestral arrangements by Chris Hazell, the same talent behind the arrangements on 'Favourites'.

Once again Terfel has invited other musicians into the studio to add some extra spice to the program - fellow Welsh superstar Aled Jones joins Terfel for César Franck's heart-melting 'Panis Angelicus' set for tenor and baritone; world-renowned guitarist John Williams is featured on 'She was beautiful', the vocal version of the hit Cavatina that Williams performed for the The Deer Hunter soundtrack; finally Terfel teams up with baritone Simon Keenlyside for a new rendering of Pergolesi's famous 'Stabat Mater'

Other selections include enduring folk favourites such as 'Amazing Grace, 'Deep River', and 'Morning has broken', all dressed in fresh arrangements by Chris Hazell; Mozart's 'Ave verum corpus' and the famous 'Ave Maria' by Bach/Gounod, as well as John Rutter's 'The Lord Bless You and Keep You' are also beautifully performed by the world's favourite baritone.
