Change

'Change' is the second album to be released on Cypress Hill's DJ Muggs' new Angeles Records label.

Few hip-hop acts are able to appeal to both the commercial hip-hop fan and rap purist in the same breath. Enter Self Scientific (the duo of Chace Infinite and DJ Khalil), one of the most acclaimed hip-hop groups to emerge from the City of Angels and a group that's earned the respect of gangstas and underground heads alike.

Self Scientific exploded onto hip-hop's radar with their much-lauded LP, 'The Self Science'. Since then, Khalil, has kept busy working with Dr. Dre and Aftermath Records while Chace can be heard on Sway and Tech's latest album 'Back to Basics' and Talib Kweli's recent 'Beautiful Mixtape Vol. 1'.

The production on 'Change' reflects DJ Khalils' remarkable development working under the Grammy-Award winning producer Dr Dre since 2004. Khalil produced tracks on the new Xzibit album and the recent Tony Yayo release, along with the soundtrack for the 50 Cent movie 'Get Rich or Die Trying'.

Guests on 'Change' include Bun B (of UGK), Stefon Harris (Blue Note), Jelly Roll, Planet Asia and Kombo.
