Lotte's Gift is the story of three generations of inspiring women and the music in their lives. This album is the soundtrack to this moving play, written by renowned Australian playwright David Williamson. Both the CD and the play feature internationally renowned guitarist Karin Schaupp, who, along with her mother and grandmother, form the basis of the story. Themes of relationships, traditions, family bonds and retrospectives on different stages of life run through both the story and the music, making this album insightful and relevant to people of all ages.
