Bent Larsen trained at the Royal Danish Music Conservatory. Debut concert in 1976 following graduation from the conservatory's soloist class.
He also studied under Maxence larrieu and Jean Pierre Rampal. He has previously formed a quintyet with Palle Mikkelborg and made recordings with NHOP and Dexter Gordon. Also he is a memeber of the internationally renowned Kuhlau Quintet. In addition Bent Larsen is much in demand as teacher of flute.
