"The Danubius Quartet plays with far more polish and tonal allure than does the comparatively scratchy Bessler-Reis ensemble. Moreover, the Hungarians play with a greater range of contrast - slow movements are slower, quick movements sometimes (but not always) quicker, rhythms are more secure.
