All tracks are première recordings. This second release of works by Ronald Corp is centred on his large a capella work "Things I didn't say" and is based on twenty short poems by Steve Mainwaring. It charts the the final years of Mainwaring's mother, who had Alzheimer's disease and is an incredibly personal and poignant work.
"The title's that of a choral cycle setting 20 poems by Steve Mainwaring about his dying mother. Corp's setting are fluidly melodic and sensitively responsive. Nine shorter pieces also feature." (BBC Music Magazine, Nov 2012)
