The Trio Sonatas occupy an important position in J. S. Bach's extensive output of chamber music, both for their number and the variety of instrumental groups for which they were written. On this CD, flautist Lorenzo Cavasanti weaves an intense musical dialogue with keyboard player Sergio Ciomei. Together, they are renowned for their consistently exciting and passionate interpretations of Bach's music, having dedicated much of their artistic careers to the performance of the great composer's works.
