This French pianist, closely associated with her teacher Isidor Philipp, had a long career based in France but with many American appearances as well. Her recordings include a series for RCA Victor during the 1930s, four sides for French Polydor, and a pair of early Vox LPs devoted to music of Fauré.
This set contains exceptionally detailed biographical notes on Boynet by Frédéric Gaussin.
