like a bottle of champagne this music isn't ideal for drinking in one go. A glass here, a glass there: that's the best way to savour Haydn's dancing subtleties, kaleidoscopic textures and sprightly wit, wonderfully conveyed by Trio Gaspard. It's still delightful listening.
