Daniel Moult (the Hill organ of Arundel Cathedral)

[ Regent / CD ]

Release Date: Saturday 4 May 2013

Acclaimed organist Daniel Moult performs the first solo recording on the 1867/1873 William Hill organ since its restoration. Inspired by eclectic Victorian-era concert programming, Moult presents a cleverly designed program featuring works by mainstream Romantic composers alongside transcriptions and contemporary British organ works. Moult's exuberant playing demonstrates the tonal variety and sheer power of the Hill organ.
