A central figure of the organ in the first half of the twentieth century, Marcel Dupré (1886-1971) brought the French symphonic organ to international prominence and trained several generations of leading organists. In this recording, Olivier Latry pays tribute to this composer and arranger through works that place particular emphasis on the dialogue between the symphonic organ and the orchestra in its fullest expression.
