Come & See Me is a double CD of 60s female Beat, Mod, Northern Soul and Psych from the world's greatest musical melting pot - Australia and New Zealand!
New Zealand's Frenzy music has now teamed up with RPM, one of the world's leading re-issue labels to showcase New Zealand and Australian 60s and 70s music to the world. 'COME & SEE ME' is the second collaboration after the successful world wide release of Larry's Rebels.
The compilation features 55 tracks and 33 artists, many of whom were unknown outside of the local scene - who now step up to the world stage and make a musical statement.
The accompanying 18 page booklet is bristling with colour and excitement to match the tone of the music with rare photos and great stories.The disc is sprinkled with period radio ads from some of the featured girls, including a Mary Quant ad from Rochelle Vinsen who was allowed to pick two of the latest Mary Quant styles as payment.
Whilst cutting their own sounds the 'down under' scene also naturally drew on musical influences from the US and the UK. The cross pollination with the UK was inevitable following the gigantic migration to both countries during the 50's and 60's, with performers born in Liverpool, London, Glasgow and New York emigrating down under and sharing centre stage with the abundant local talent. Many of the featured artists on this collection would go on to have successful and colourful careers in the UK and the USA.
This double CD set is accompanied by a 20 page booklet packed with information and photos. 11 of the 55 tracks are released on CD for the first time.

The package is maybe the coolest entries in the Dream Babes series so far - as it's as much a great batch of gal-driven tracks as it is a huge history lesson. The book's got notes on all the artists included - but the music itself is more than enough - 55 great cuts
