Digitally re-mastered re-issue. Arguably Bad Religion's darkest release, 'Generator' marks the beginning of sonic experimentation.

Bad Religion has been stunning the music world by mixing melody, attitude and speed since 1980. In an era where major labels refused to consider American punk groups, Brett Gurewitz formed the incredibly successful Epitaph Records as a medium for their message

Bad Religion's first LP, 1982's 'How Could Hell Be Any Worse', helped define the Southern California punk sound. By 1987, with guitarist Greg Hetson of the iconic Circle Jerks in the fold, Bad Religion crafted the epic 'Suffer', which is often credited for revitalizing the punk movement of the late eighties. The acclaimed albums 89's 'No Control', 90's 'Against The Grain' and 92's 'Generator' followed.

Arguably Bad Religion's darkest release, 'Generator' marks the beginning of sonic experimentation. Songs like, "Generator", "Only Entertainment", "No Direction", and "Atomic Garden" break new artistic ground.

The 'Generator' reissue contains two bonus tracks: "Heaven Is Falling" and "Fertile Crescent" that originally appeared on the split 7" with Noam Chomsky put out by Maximum Rock'N Roll in 1991.
