Bonnie Raitt's follow-up album to her breakthrough 'Nick of Time' is undoubtedly her artistic peak. She had battled with addictions, but at this stage of her life had just beaten all those bad habits and focused totally on making the absolute best album she could - and most certainly succeeded.

Produced by Don Was, 'Luck of the Draw' includes guests Brady and Delbert McClinton on harmony vocals, Richard Thompson on guitar and John Hiatt in songwriter capacity.

Bonnie's wonderfully moving, blues-tinged voice and accomplished slide guitar playing resonate throughout these twelve earthy songs. They include the strutting "Something to Talk About," the uplifting "Not the Only One," and the heartbreakingly beautiful "I Can't Make You Love Me."
