J Swinscoe and the Cinematic Orchestra came out of nowhere last year to stun all good folk with their take on jazz, sixties soundtrack and modern sampler technology. The first album 'Motion' surprised everybody, its atmospherics garnering huge amounts of press praise and radio play. As a result, Swinscoe became a much sought-after remixer. And his remixes are blinding… Ninja Tune, decided to trawl around various record companies and beg for the rights to release all the various remixes as a bumper package of loveliness. Remixes include Les Gammas "Guauanco" (Compost), Nils Petter Molvaer "Vilderness" (ECM Jazz), DJ Krust "Re-Arrange", plus an exclusive remix of Cinematic Orchestra's original "Channel One Suite."
