French artist ReadyMade (aka Jean-Phillipe Verdin) delivers his debut album 'Bold' on F-Com! 'Bold' is a house-influenced album although no straight house tracks appear. Deceptively minimal and definitely eighties influenced, it encapsulates all his influences of Hip-Hop, Electro, Techno, Drum & Bass, and Pop. The two standout tracks would have to be "Sugarfuel" (featuring ex-Japan frontman David Sylvian) and "Lonely Boy" (featuring Juice Aleem of New Flesh For Old fame).
o His previous EP received rave reviews worldwide and also received 'Single Of The Week' in NME. Aside from working on his album, ReadyMade regularly performs on the live front with Aqua Bassino (F-Com labelmate), he has had several collaborations with French singers (incl. Etienne Daho and Zazie), and has compiled numerous soundtracks for everything from show rooms, fashion shows, CD-Roms and Playstation games.
