The Original Cast Recording of Baz Luhrmann's production of Puccini's 'La Boheme' is not your average CD. But then, Baz Lurhmann is not your average director. He's a director who turned the soundtrack genre on it's head. He can be accredited to such soundtracks as - Strictly Ballroom, Romeo and Juliet, and the box office smash Moulin Rouge.
Luhrmann's staging of La Boheme moved to New York in December 2002 and started its Broadway season to rave reviews. Baz Luhrmann is making opera cool new music for the masses while it still stays true to its old romantic Italian roots.
