The Badmeaningood series is an attempt to get to the heart of what hip hop means in the 21st century through the ears & minds of some of the music's foremost practitioners.

Between them, the Scratch Perverts have racked up more UK & World titles than any of them care to remember. Yet all three share a belief that hip hop is about more than proving your mettle in competition, which is why their mix is chock full of heavyweight tunes & their scratch mastery is held potently in reserve.

Scratch Perverts have fashioned a mix that relies heavily on classic hip hop, but dips in & out of the music that has informed both rap itself & their own personal journey through the genre. So alongside these classics there are moments of homage, dues are paid to DJ heroes.
