Basement Jaxx have returned to give dance music a much needed slap in the chops, ripping up the rulebook once again, Basement Jaxx deliver their third studio album 'Kish Kash', an album that is above and beyond genre classification.

With 'Remedy' and 'Rooty' they famously reinvented house music. Now they're going to mess with your heads. Taking in punk, funk, electro and northern soul the Jaxx have produced an astoundingly intense and beautiful ride from start to finish.

First single "Lucky Star" sees the Jaxx teaming up with XL label mate and recent Mercury Music Award winner Dizzee Rascal on a harsh tag-team assault that leaps straight from the underground and into the charts. Other collaborations include legendary South London punk pioneer Siouxsie Sioux on electropunk thrashout "Cish Cash"; Lisa Kekaula from LA rock and soul shaker-makers The Bellrays belting out the opening track "Good Luck", nu soul diva Meshell Ndegéocello getting sassy on p-funked dancefloor mover "Right Here's The Spot" and N*Sync asylum seeker JC Chasez adding some falsetto to the unhinged r&b sex-up meets rave anthem that is "Plug It In".

Previous Jaxx albums 'Rooty' and 'Remedy' have both achieved Gold plus sales in NZ and have spawned the massive radio and dance floor singles "Rendezvous", "Red Alert", "Bingo Bango", "Where's Your Head At", "Romeo" and "Do Your Thing".

Basement Jaxx have appeared at the "Big Day Out" 2000, 2002, and 2004... They rocked!
