Mark Pember aka Meat Katie has long been a fixture on the breakbeat scene as both a DJ and producer. His unique brand of tech-funk, cherry-picking tech/tribal house, techno and electro, as well as his trademark breakbeat feel, has seen him lauded as one of the most consistent DJs around.
His genre defying sound (represented accurately with this mix) is also reflected in his DJ sets, which have seen him supporting the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Asian Dub Foundation, Death In Vegas and The Gatecrasher, plus upcoming gigs with Basement Jaxx and Layo and Bushwacka.
