Walking the line of black psych-rock, hip hop and true-school b-boying, 'One A.M.' features production from Rjd2 (who produces half the album), Prefuse-73, Jeff Parker (Tortoise) and the legendary beat scientist Madlib. Guest emcees include Mos Def, Lyrics Born (Latyrx), Jean Grae, Vast Aire (Cannibal Ox), making for smooth, tight lyrical flows over blunted beats and serious grooves.
