Lay Of The Land

"Taking the emotionally resonant sound of their celebrated live show into the studio, 'Lay Of The Land' retains the band's primordial quality for soaring, spellbinding anthems… with visceral and escalating power, Seachange are a hypnotic proposition."
- Time Out, UK

This dazzling debut album showcases a sextet bursting with talent, vitality and bright ideas. With raw energy and intelligent songwriting, Seachange have forged a dramatic path through the varied guises of rock n' roll.

Wielding escalating guitars, folksy violin and an enigmatic frontman, they marry a variety of influences to a ferocity that can't be faked, to produce an anthemic sound with a fiery intensity and impressive versatility.

Arguably the best new band in Britain, certainly the best debut album since Interpol's 'Turn On The Bright Lights', 'Lay Of The Land' marks Seachange as a true British talent.
