Release Date: Monday 14 June 2004

Their sixth album, full of angular, warping chords, poetic, desolate lyrics - intricate, mesmerising music.

Modest Mouse is known in indie rock circles for it's angular, warping chords, poetic, desolate lyrics, and intricate, mesmerising music.

Formed in 1994 in Issaquah, Washington, Modest Mouse draws comparisons to Death Cab For Cutie, Built To Spill & The Pixies.

Their album for 2004 (their sixth) was produced by Dennis Herring (Camper Van Beethoven, Throwing Muses, Cracker), and features the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and a track remixed by Dave Fridmann/The Flaming Lips.

The album debuted at #19 on the Billboard Chart in April 2004 and has sold over 300,000 copies.

"The most powerful, beautiful, and angry music the band has ever made."
