Hailing from Long Beach, California, Ugly Duckling are anything but your usual gun-toting, self-eulogising, ho'-bangin' hip hop crew. With this, their fourth release they bring new tasty beats and morsels from the deluxe menu! With a wide selection of delicious flavours of meatshakes (DingoShake and SharkShake anyone?), Ugly Duckling return with their unique brand of hip hop: humorous without being lame, their head-nodding beats and strict no profanity stance has seen them carve a niche for themselves beside breakthrough acts like Jurassic 5 and Black Eyed Peas.

Their brand new Australasian exclusive EP 'The Leftovers' is exactly that… eight tracks, both old and new, that they couldn't find a place for on their previous albums, plus a bonus video of 'The Animated Drive-Thru Classic'.

Name-checking acts like De La Soul as influences, Ugly Duckling's production mines a similar vein of classic funky hip hop, but their full fat, high protein tracks are also reminiscent of early '90s Diamond D or Pete Rock. Also featured on 'The Leftovers' is near-legendary hip hop figure Grand Puba of Brand Nubian.
