Into The Depths

Boss Of Grand Central Records, renown DJ, successful producer and outstanding musician Mark Rae has achieved a lot in the last decade and shows no signs of slowing down, as he releases his second solo album, 'Into The Depths'.

An album packed full of classic soul and funk, 'Into The Depths' features collaborations with his new studio partner Rhys Adams (who recently worked on Niko's sparkling debut on Grand central) and old cohorts Veba and soul singer Pete Simpson.

The album title 'Into The Depths' is indicative of the depths of his soul Mark feels he had to five into making the album. There is a certain "darkness" about many of the tracks, but the light of distinct gospel and soul tendencies succeed in banishing it into the shadows as it soars with Rae's trademark feelgood factor and funky beats.

From subterranean ragga beats to quirky organ-driven soul and replete with tough drums, tight scratching and wonderful vocals, 'Into The Depths' continues Mark Rae's journey as a solo artist - yet another string to his already impressive bow.
