'Andrea' is the 4th internationally released pop album from Bocelli, a truly unique, versatile and groundbreaking artist, with one of the most distinctive voices in the world of music.

'Andrea' is the fourth internationally released pop album from Andrea Bocelli, a truly unique, versatile and groundbreaking artist, with one of the most distinctive voices in the world of music. Since exploding onto the international music scene in the mid 90's, Bocelli has sold over 50 million albums worldwide in the genres of both pop and opera. In the sphere of pop music Bocelli is one of the world's most popular male vocalists. In the sphere of classical music Bocelli is the biggest selling soloist in the history of the recording industry. Individually, either achievement would be impressive. Together, such a feat is truly unprecedented.

'Andrea' features the beautiful and incredibly communicative voice with qualities that transcend language. Bocelli has proven beyond doubt his beliefs about the power of the human voice; "Singing is the universal language of the heart. If you can communicate the feelings that are within your heart, others will understand through theirs."

'Andrea' follows three years after Bocelli's last pop smash, 'Cieli Di Toscana'. He is excited about his return to the world of popular music. "Pop music is an important creative experience. It allows me to express myself in different ways, enjoy new experiences, work with new musical talents and new voices, discover new music, new cultures and new sensibilities."

'Andrea' is Andrea Bocelli's most personal recording project to date, with the artist enjoying a more 'hands on' role in creation than previous albums. He recently realized the ambition of a recording studio at his home; "For years I have been learning everything possible about the workings of the recording process. To have a studio here was a dream come true. It gave me huge freedom. At any time I could listen to new material, experiment, formulate ideas and most importantly record. Each and every day I work with my voice for several hours and it is a natural progression to be able to capture it in the moments when you feel most inspired. I feel this can be heard in my performances on the album."

Singer Holly Stell makes her international recording debut on the duet "Go Where Love Goes". Aged just 12 years old, Holly's angelic voice is leading to an exciting career. Holly exhibited a passion for singing literally almost before she could walk and joined her first choir at the age of four. She has become an accomplished soloist and is increasingly in demand to perform at all manner of special events and gala concerts, including a recent holiday gala at the White House which was transmitted worldwide. Holly's dearest ambition is to become an opera singer and she is studying and carefully developing her beautiful natural talent. She lives in California with her parents and two younger brothers.
