Willowz are coming to destroy what's left of rock n' roll! Coming out of Orange County, California, these just-out-of-their-teens punks have sprung out of left field and delivered the world of punk and garage rock a real sucker punch.

Trash pop, soul punk and Nuggets freaks are the various things Willowz have been described as, but they also represent their O.C. / L.A. roots: their sound is comprised of the energy of '60s soul and rock n' roll, a blast of early '80s O.C. punk and is a raw and honest sound, proving their claim they're not just another band weaned on MTV or bland commercial radio.

On their debut full-length [various 7" and EP releases now behind them] 'Willowz', the dynamite trio rip, shred and blaze through nine rip-snorting tracks in just under record time - 23min of pure adrenaline and rock angst.

Discovered by Michael Gondry [he of Bjork, White Stripes and Chemical Brothers video directorial fame] whilst scouring the web for music for his film 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind' and upon loving what he'd stumbled upon, promptly used 2 tracks from the album to soundtrack a scene with Kirsten Dunst dancing around in her underwear. Oo-er.

Highly contagious spunky rock cut with hell raising punk aggression. Play it loud. No, louder. Hmm... probably louder still!
