The future of bossa boogie! This is a new collaboration from ex-Bobby Hughes Combination / Experience founding members!

Ex-Bobby Hughes Combination / Experience founding member's new collaboration!

'Forgetting To Remember' is the debut album from Kinny and Horne, the collaborative work of Norwegian producer Espen Horne aka Bobby Hughes and Canadian / Jamaican vocalist Caitlin Simpson. The styles of music found on this album reflect the eclectic nature of Espen's wide ranging influences, covering all aspects of jazz, reggae, downtempo and funk.

Previously a fashion designer, professional goalkeeper for Wigan Football Club, graphic designer and the man behind the Bobby Hughes Combination, Espen decided to shift focus and produce a fresh new, full sung vocal album project. Actively seeking a singer, Espen hooked up with Caitlin, a classically trained Opera singer, but whose love for reggae and jazz have always come first. Caitlin was in fact touring Norway with a reggae band when she fell in love with the place and decided to live there!

Lead track "Why Me?" is a sassy, catchy little number garnering a positive response, swiftly becoming a dancefloor favourite of switched on DJs currently, with The Turnaround's Cian a converted fan, among others.

Released on Tru Thoughts [Quantic, Alice Russell and TM Juke], 'Forgetting To Remember' is an album of great songs combined with great production, with styles stretching from soul, jazz, funk, reggae and hip hop. With the album's unique fusion of varied styles, the individuality and distinction of the Kinny and Horne sound looks set to reach skywards. The future of bossa boogie!
