Octavarium

'Octavarium' features everything that we've come to expect from these master musicians including extravagantly arranged compositions, impeccable instrumentation, and of course a multitude of differing time signatures - all delivered with fiery passion and a genuine love for what they do. 2003's 'Train of Thought' was impressive, but listening to 'Octavarium' made my jaw drop! If you only buy a few rock CDs this year, please make sure that this is one of them."

"This is an excellent album, that surpasses the heavier, previous DT effort, 'Train of Thought'. 'Octavarium' is a more progressive offering - most likely inspired by the group's support slot on the 2004 YES tour. Check out the 24-minute title track, which contains plenty of references to many prog bands. Recommended!"
