In recording his debut album, Ryan enlisted the help of the likes of Luke Buda, Dave Long, Tessa Rain, Tom Callwood and his brothers Lee, Tim and Greg. They've each brought their own flavours to an album that commands repeat listens.

"A cold Wellington night did not deter enthusiastic music goers to pack out Cake Shop and be treated to a night of the most smooth and solid voice I've ever heard. Ryan Prebble is something else!"
- Simon Bailey, Cake Shop

Since he was knee-high to a grasshopper, Ryan Prebble has been playing music. Like many youths, he made his start on a tennis racquet eventually progressing to the guitar and now 13 years later he has developed a uniquely percussive style of playing.

He has captivated small audiences around NZ with his powerful voice and stonking rhythms. He's often onstage alone and armed with only his trusty guitar - but that's where Ryan Prebble's talents really soar. Luckily, he's recaptured that feel on record…

Ryan has independently produced his debut album, 'Fruits', alongside his older brother "Dr" Lee Prebble. Recorded mostly at The Surgery in Welli, studio du jour for happening Wellington projects. Other fine examples of the good work going on there include Trinity Roots, Phoenix Foundation, Recloose, Hollie Smith and The Black Seeds.

Ryan has performed alongside other emerging artists such as The Inkling, Chandeliers and Hikoikoi Reserve. He also collaborates with his peers in two other bands - Dubcheck and Spartacus R - and was a member of the Fly My Pretties band.
